Intelligent Preview
The preview channel display contextual information: the image being imported, edited, the composite image being built, or the next image in the display queue. At all time, the name of the image is displayed, making it easy for everyone to communicate.
Independent Inputs and Outputs

Mediatek is a solution for studios and broadcasters to integrate images and clips in their work. It was designed with the real world in mind, with support for most popular video and image formats, integration of multimedia devices such as flash cards, USB keys and scanners and comes with an easy to use interface that requires little training.
An Intuitive Workflow

1. Import
Importing images and clips (MPEG, QuickTime® or Windows Media®) will never be a problem. Mediatek lets you import files stored locally or on shared directories, on USB keys, major camera flash cards, up to two HD-SDI inputs and local or shared scanners.
Most popular image formats can be imported in Mediatek without conversion (Targa, TIFF, JPEG, GIF, BMP, PNG). Additionally, Mediatek uses the alpha channel and pixel ratio specified in the file.
When capturing from the HD-SDI, if two inputs are available, they can be frozen simultaneously to grab a synchronized key and a fill from each input.
Also, each file, whether captured, prepared or created as a composite is stored as a TIFF that can be open and manipulated by nearly any other image software.

Organize Your Show
Organize your slides in advance. Mediatek can build timed or trigged playlists, meaning you can relax during the show. Something unexpected comes up and the playlist no longer works? No problem: you have access to any slides at any time, even within playlist. Simply type the first letters of the slide's name on the keyboard or browse through large thumbnails using the touchscreen interface.

With clip playback, Mediatek supports MPEG, MOV, AVI and WMV files and can playback up to two HD clips simultaneously.Lossless HD Clip Support
With lossless HD clip support, Mediatek can record or playback HD video with no compression, making sure the playback is in the best quality possible. This option also makes Mediatek more responsive with all other file formats.Text Support
This option enables text labels to be written directly inside of Mediatek, adding captions to pictures or clips.Effects Package
Mediatek comes with basic effects such as black and white and chroma and brightness adjustment. This package includes more advanced effects, such as white-clip (blooming), blurring, sharpness, and more. These effects can be applied to images, clips or live input and are rendered live.Remote Operations
Mediatek can be installed with an extension, allowing the hardware to be up to 150ft away from the monitor, keyboard. The extension includes a USB 2.0 hub at 480Mbps, meaning that usb keys, a scanner, an external hard drives or even a DVD drives can be used at the extension point at full speed.Hardware Warranty
The workstation and hard drives are covered by a three year warranty. Other hardware is covered by a one year warranty. It is possible to extend the warranty up to five years.Software Support

In addition to the direct interaction with the touchscreen interface, Mediatek can be integrated with other components of a broadcast studio such as the switcher or a new control system.
Switcher Integration
Integration using PBUSUsing the PBUS protocol, Mediatek can be operated from the switcher. The operator learns media elements and recalls them during the show. Using a shared storage, artists can drop their files in a folder watched by Mediatek, making them available to the switcher in a matter of seconds. |
